This is an opportunity to learn about the the many ways YOU can contribute to BEAT’s growth. Hosted at the Frog Design office in Brooklyn, this event will feature performances by BEAT Instructors, stories and music from BEAT Students, amazing prizes, and more!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be joined by Dr. David E. Kirkland as our Guest of Honor!

Dr. Kirkland is the Executive Director of The NYU Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and The Transformation of Schools. He is an activist and educator, cultural critic and author.

A leading national scholar and advocate for educational justice, Dr. Kirkland's transdisciplinary scholarship explores a variety of equity related topics: school climate and discipline; school integration and choice; culture and education; vulnerable learners; and intersections among race, gender, and education.

As you already might know I go by the alias Undakova (Undercover) and I am beat maker, DJ and MC here in NYC.
