I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation. Five score years ago, a great American , in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation . This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity. But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. Are you staying in spirit and "Hip" to what is coming next? For 2016 it seems there is even more I have to let go. Not only relationships but physical matter that either has to be repurposed and redefined for reuse or given away all together. Keep an eye out for what is on the horizon. Changes are inevitable.

Hey email subscribers. Three things: 1) The obligatory Happy New Year! It's weird that it's currently 2016. 2) You can read this post on Wait But Why  here . Another (new) post coming shortly. 3) On December 21,  SpaceX  did something historic—they launched 11 satellites into orbit and then brought the rocket back down to Earth and landed it vertically. It's a game-changing breakthrough in the aerospace industry. If you missed it, you can watch the entire thing  here  on the webcast, which includes me as the freaked-out outsider co-host. Launch happens at about  23:00  and the excitement with the landing starts at about 31:00.
