KRS ONE Vs Mom Dukes

I was telling my mom that the mighty Mos-Def was in the same studio that I will be rehearsing and creating in tomorrow afternoon and she then realized that she didn't tell me that KRS-One was shopping right next to her as she was scanning out her groceries two days ago. I wanted to ask her why didn't she make the connection to the Falldown Tour and KRS and such but thats just how mothers are I suppose. She was mainly worried about the lil girl that kicked her heel by accident while playing out of control on the line at the Pathmark. Well thats what I get for not doing the grocery shopping that day.

Bahamas Vacation Paradise is over

just got back from a nice family weekend vacation. Much needed. Spending time with my mom on mothers day as well as my bro in the Bahamas was the perfect remedy for the ill New York days that I was encountering recently. Well now I am back. No more sun rays and beautiful green/blue water. *Sigh*

Undakova begins learning to look at the moon for balance.

Well I am slowly gaining my balance once again. Traveling can leave you a bit unmotivated once you get back home. I figured Id fight it by writing down many goals and working hard but somewhere along the lines I became too motivated and excited to move ahead and hit a dead end when I got a unexpected technical problem with my computer. Forced me to settle down and stop working and thinking and planning. That situation then forced me stop, pause and look out at the beautiful full moon and fall back. I am here again.

Undakova returns from Hip Hop Tour

Well I am back now. The tour went well and I was able to not only open for KRS One but freestyle on stage with him and get my B.D.P. record signed by the legend himself. Upon arrival back in NYC I got to spin at the new monday hotspot Pink Elephant as well as catch up in many ways to the New York fast pace of living. More to come for sure.

Sin Sin Off the Head Game Show Battle features Undakova

Thank you to all those that supported Undakova in the official "Off the Head Freestyle Battle at Sin Sin Monday night." Making it to the final round, and drawing a tie for so long (over 3 rounds), was a big confidence booster and a great deal of fun. Much love to the champion Utkarsh (thanks for taking it easy on me ha :)). See ya at the next one. Much love to my homegirl Devorah who came to NYC from Philly, and entered me in the battle. Shouts to Bisc 1, Milk Mizzy, Robin Andre , Anne, Dan and Amber as well and of course Illspoken Mariella and the XO Band. Thats love

The Tour dates are sealed

Yep seems like the dates have been gathered and the road map obtained. Check out the shows section of the website to find out more details on the dates and places around this darn country the Falldown Crew will be exploring for moments in time. Please plan on staying with me and the rest of the crew each step of the way. . .

A successful Willpowa Resoulution!

This Friday the Willpowa Resoulution 2nd Edition took place at Asterisk and boy was it a huge success!! I can't thank you enough if you were a part of this night in any way big or small. Thank you thank you thank you. It magically came together with the right people and the right attitudes and optimism. What a positive night. It was a staple in what I intend on doing and pursuing in my future. So the best is yet to come. Much love to all who supported this event. Be on the look out for video of the night in general and on Voom Satelite television as well.

The first Willpowa Resoulution Showcase of 2005

Well it looks to me like another Asterisk party is going down in Williamsburg. This time around there has been a gathering of a supreme team of musicians, djs, and artist to set the night off as hip hop musicial extravaganza. You have no idea what you are going to be missing if you don't make this one. Lets just say if you do miss out you will end up seeing it on T.V. later on any way. March 18th Willpowa is presenting the first showcase designed as a musical play with a constant flow of artist rocking back to back with themes that tie us all together. The one theme running through all of our veins is that we all had the "Willpowa" to form together and be here in the present moment in order to share our music with you. Willpowa Theory meets Trevor Day School

Man oh man. I just woke up from a most interesting experience. Yesterday I started my day bright and early at 4:30am to head to the Trevor Day School in the upper west side. My homey Rob has allowed me to formulate a Willpowa curriculum with him and his kids. The result was a class filled with love and laughter in the name of Hip Hop and its elements. Not only was the class such a rewarding experience to share with the youth about hip hop and the true essense of it from my standpoint but the entire day left me exhausted with joy from all of the creative projects that were flowing in the other classes and with the school as a whole. It was such a day and I got footage of it all and pictures that will be available on my new website launching March 7th 2007. Look at the Willpowa Theory and course Curriculum

Multipass, Mindspray, The Oscars and Williamsburg

I would like to thank all who came out this Sunday despite the Oscars or work on Monday. (Was it the FREE Beer!! ha) Its 9:50am and I still haven't slept yet from the night. Much love and definitely a great deal of good energy out there in Brooklyn. Phew. I wish I could list everyone whose presence I appreciated but you all know who you are. Lets spread that toward each and everyone we encounter. "MULTIPASS" thank you for Rocking East River Bar along with Williamsburg's finest MINDSPRAY. This month and chapter in the Willpowa Resoulution is coming to a close.

its now LIVE365

I just added a whole stack of exclusive instrumentals, unheard songs, and beats from drum and bass to hip hop to the web. You can hear it on my new radio station. When my FREE trial subscription expires I will most likely continue to keep my music online somewhere else. But check it while its hot.

Ain't no JIVE

I was just at Jive Records the other day and I noticed it was a coincidence how "Mr Chappelle" was on the flat screen TV while I was waiting briefly for my friend at Jive. It seems I now have an opportunity to hand in some of my instrumental tracks and music to be shopped through a very nice AnR at the label. I am also in the process of signing two licensing deals for 3 songs off of the Collective album. One is toward compilation called Real Earth which will be distributed world wide. The other is toward an independent film called "Just another romantic Wrestling comedy." Lastly I am signing some music toward a company called Myxer that changes your music into Ringtones. This as well as other break throughs in the works should be decided and coming to a close by months end.

Dave Chappelle at XR Bar?

There were several strange, rare moments and highlights in XR bar tonight. (when I walked in tonight my boss was hammered lol) Not like this makes me cool or anything but tonight one of those rare moments happened to be Dave Chappelle walking in and chilling as I was playing George Michael "Freedom" haha. Dave is definitely down to earth. He commented on my Fela Kuti and thanked me for supporting Michael Jackson when I played him. The other moments consisted of watching several heads rock out to "Paradise City," "She blinded me with Science" and of course "Hungry Like a wolf" One thing about XR bar I have to admit. Every night is a new and different experience for better of for worst.

What a way to Feng Shui

Today was the first day waking up in my newly redesigned Feng Shui room. I didn't get new stuff I simply spent yesterday rearranging furniture before I hit up XR bar later on that night to DJ. I have to admit its much better now and I like it!! Thank you Feng Shui. I have tons more to move around the entire place and get rid of. "Rome wasn't built over night"

Building the Willpowa Movement

I have this whole idea for the Willpowa movement but I can't get anyone to fully join forces with me because everyone is doing there own thing. Not like anyone has flat out told me "no I don't want to be down with the plan" just no one has fully been %100 committed yet. Well I can't blame em. . . if you build it thats when they will come.

Williamsburg East River Brews

I just came back from Williamsburg's East River Bar. I NOW see where I am going to get my dose of authentic loud Rock & Roll, cheap beer. second hand smoke, and flirtacious sweet hearts, from this year. Just when I thought I was going to get by completely being a "goody two shoes." Brooklyn said F@*K that! . . . this message has been brought to you by MILLER HIGH LIFE!

New Years Resolutions

Well I don't have any resolutions to tell you the truth. I guess if I had one thing on my mind it would be not giving up and continuing to fight through it all. There is so much going on in the world and I know if I continue I can make a difference for myself and others throughout. I won't stop.
