BACK STORY ON THE VERSE
This
verse is inspired by the many years I have taken to finally write it
lol. Yep Self Suffice and I have been on this topic of cartoon
characters and have had this beat since I was round 14 years old. It was
one of the first beats I created using a computer software called
Digital Orchestrator plus to sample parts for it. I remember we made the
chorus up in his room one day in the lower east side after I brought
the beat over to his house after creating it at home with DOP. Self
Suffice and I go way back like that. I didn't have the name UNDAKOVA
until joining his crew UNDERRATED that was already established before I
came on board.
Fast forward many moons til now I was having a conversation with Self over the phone and I decided to write this verse. Self has a verse ready as well and its fire. He called me in the middle of me writing his verse while I was still 8 bars into mine with his already finished. That's how we have been an inspiration for each other year after year. Hope you enjoy.
