Are you flowing from the heart? UNDAKOVA UPDATE

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
Let's flow with our hearts within the communications and the arts.
Hello, Did you know July is my birthday month? Life has been heating gradually here in NYC but by this fall (September 27th) my partner Katie and I are looking forward to the natural birth of Kali Xion Williams!!
With the guidance of my higher power I have managed to maintain the fast pace demands of my day occupation at Juice Press, continually practice my meditation, and take daily steps to stay on top of my creative endeavors. It's been a challenging emotional ride for your "cancer moon" Leo brother to say the least but here is an update just for you.

Katie (and baby Kali) were 100% supportive and by my side as I served at the Unifier Festival in Tolland Massachusetts.
Together we taught Hip Hop Kid Yoga as well as facilitated a Hip Hop and spoken word cypher presented by the amazing wordsmith
Tanya Evanson. Completing the team Elisa Garcia provided the photography and skillfully captured the memories you can see above and below.

"It was truly impressive to watch Undakova facilitate a cypher with people who had, for the most part, never participated in one before. He held us all inside rhythm, grace and patience. We listened, learned and were blessed. May it continue."

PAST MOVEMENTS
Finally settling back home in the LES I was guided to feel our baby's head in Kali Mama's womb with my two fingers during our midwife session. I could only imagine the shocked look on my face. A moment and feeling I will never forget as each fleeting moment continued and continued passing on to the next. . .  below is a free-verse rhyme I wrote as well as other blessed times

Urban Tantra Workshop @ Daya Yoga Brooklyn
Thanks Katie and David for the brilliant workshop and for your generosity. -Joy Curtus
Summer Solstice & Full Moon @ Alchemist Kitchen
On the Summer Solstice Undakova joined together with radical, queer feminist collective Go! Push Pops as we honored the light, the inner fire/power and the ever present earth energies. Through sacred ceremony, we learned to ignite our own inner fires, burning away all that is no longer serving us and heating up the passions that bind us together in song, dance and celebration in a Free Form Ecstatic Dance Party
Youth Explosion "The New Bohemia" @ Czech Center New York
Grateful to have collaborated with "New York Darlings" gopushpopsKatie Cercone and Elisa Ghs for Marie Tomanová's “Youth Explosion: The New Bohemia.”
What a blessing and wonderful honor to be amongst so many groundbreaking artist and creatives serving to break down the old paradigm so we can bring forth the new. KaliMa!.-Undakova
"The performance itself took the shape of a birthing ceremony: Cercone rapped, declaring herself “Ratchet Amma” as Garcia de La Huerta cut fruit and slathered it over her own shirt and Cercone’s belly, leaving the two artists stained and sticky. After a hip-hop sermon by Undakova, a small spontaneous dance party broke out with the pregnant “Ratchet Amma” shedding her shirt." Milk Media on gopushpops at ‪#YouthExplosion‬

BEAT GLOBAL TEACH THE TEACHER PROGRAM

Once "settled" in New York I began to remember that "Life is in cycles." I was grateful to revisit ‪#BeatGlobal‬ and reignite the passion and purpose once again with Terry Lewis ‪#Kidlucky‬ orchestrating the cypher in the picture above masterfully. BEAT is gearing up for the second coming of TEACH THE TEACHER PROGRAM. This year BEATNYC will be launching #BEATGLOBAL announcing the movements world wide initiatives and programs. Want to be more involved in BEATGLOBAL? and or participate in Teach the Teacher this year? let me know if you want more information or email anna@beatnyc.org.

7 Reasons why becoming a member of Beat365 rocks.

As you already might know I go by the alias Undakova (Undercover) and I am beat maker, DJ and MC here in NYC. I have been producing hip hop beats since the 90s and have produced my own hip hop instrumentals for my album created here in New York City. I often get asked by R & B artist and MCs "Can you produce some beats for my album?" One day the question popped up in my head "Where does an artist find great sounding Hip hop, r&b and rap beats that sound so good you play them in your car for fun as well as record song after song with them?" If an artist doesn't have a friend or business partner who is a producer or know how to/ want to produce beats on there own spare time (which can take a lot of time and money) where does he/she find a complete collection of hip hop beats? Well the answer is simple. . . . To find Hip hop, r&b and rap beats that sound so good you play them in your car for fun as well as record song after song with them go to Beats365
