Are we sleeping on homelessness?

So recently I realized that I truly want to do something about homelessness in the world? Why? Well because I never really had to struggle paying my own rent. I never really had it hard enough to be homeless. I do believe that that is because I was and still am very fortunate to have the type of family I have and a mother who cares for me immensely. But anything can happen these days. God forbid a fire, thief, getting laid off, drugs, the levi broke, the check didn't clear, I lost my ID, Life life life, the recession, and the friggin economy, racism, and pure laziness gone bad can all have their effects one way or another on us directly or indirectly and be the cause of homelessness. Am I right?

Well perhaps not but what I do notice is that what is evident is that there is something that exist in our day and age called homelessness? What is homelessness? Is it a disease of the mind that effects our environments eventually? Does it start at a young age? Or can it be caught like a cold? Can I catch homelessness? Is it something that gradually develops by like cancer then gets to overwhelming to get rid of without serious help? Most of all is there a cure? Yes can we cure homelessness? Why Do I live in the "best city in the world" but have to share the train with someone who sleeps on it. Why are some of my closest friends homeless? Why are some of the people I grew up with and went to school with homeless? And the burning question inside is why can't I do anything about it? Is it because I am not wealthy enough? How many of you reading have a few landlords in your phone book? People who have spare apartments they are not doing "anything" with that they can spare. And then again there is a whole stigma about being homeless that exist that "homeless people need to get a job and are lazy?" isn't this true. Is it not also true that rent is increasing and the older population is getting pushed out of there homes because the young can afford to pay the high rents. Eh whatever maybe I am just barking up the wrong tree at the moment but recently this year I have been looking for a place and wondered whether I wanted to continue planting seeds here in NYC or abroad and further more did I want to make this city a better place if I did leave soon. What about ending homelessness? By 2010. Could that be done? Could we have green housing for them that also helps heal the planet. Some people are doing a lot about this issue we call being homeless and the press is publicizing a huge shift in the amount of homelessness in the streets of NYC.

I recently got put on to a website called Commonground.org that has a large impact on the homeless population by providing housing. The Homeless Census reports that this year "homeless levels throughout all five boroughs dropped 30% from 2008 to 2009" This issue has been around for years and years and years but could it be dissolved in NY in our lifetime. We all know to "never say never"
What's the most important issue you would like to see removed from this planet? Thank you for your time in reading these and asking yourself these questions. Peace and Love

7 Reasons why becoming a member of Beat365 rocks.

As you already might know I go by the alias Undakova (Undercover) and I am beat maker, DJ and MC here in NYC. I have been producing hip hop beats since the 90s and have produced my own hip hop instrumentals for my album created here in New York City. I often get asked by R & B artist and MCs "Can you produce some beats for my album?" One day the question popped up in my head "Where does an artist find great sounding Hip hop, r&b and rap beats that sound so good you play them in your car for fun as well as record song after song with them?" If an artist doesn't have a friend or business partner who is a producer or know how to/ want to produce beats on there own spare time (which can take a lot of time and money) where does he/she find a complete collection of hip hop beats? Well the answer is simple. . . . To find Hip hop, r&b and rap beats that sound so good you play them in your car for fun as well as record song after song with them go to Beats365
