Inside the B E A T!

 Inside the B E A T!

This past Thursday (August 1st) we were hyped to partner with NYC Dept of Youth & Community Development (DYCD), NIKE and El Puente M.S.50 Community School of Williamsburg, Brooklyn to offer our BEAT Breakers program. In an auditorium packed with nearly 100 middle school students, we had 8 of our best dance instructors divide all participants into 4 different teams. Each team had their own breakout sessions, coached by 2 of our teaching artists, and learned the basics of breaking, pop and lock and Hip-Hop dance. To close out the event, the teams showcased the dances they learned from their breakout sessions and then faced off in a dance battle for bragging rights. The youngest group of participants were the feistiest bunch and beat out all of the older groups for ultimate bragging rights.

It was so inspiring to see the kids come alive as they learned to be fully self expressed through the art of breakin, using nothing but their bodies. I am proud of our instructors for always bringing their A game. Be sure to click below to hear an amazing behind the scenes testimonial from one of the participants from the event.

Sincerely,
- James Kim

7 Reasons why becoming a member of Beat365 rocks.

As you already might know I go by the alias Undakova (Undercover) and I am beat maker, DJ and MC here in NYC. I have been producing hip hop beats since the 90s and have produced my own hip hop instrumentals for my album created here in New York City. I often get asked by R & B artist and MCs "Can you produce some beats for my album?" One day the question popped up in my head "Where does an artist find great sounding Hip hop, r&b and rap beats that sound so good you play them in your car for fun as well as record song after song with them?" If an artist doesn't have a friend or business partner who is a producer or know how to/ want to produce beats on there own spare time (which can take a lot of time and money) where does he/she find a complete collection of hip hop beats? Well the answer is simple. . . . To find Hip hop, r&b and rap beats that sound so good you play them in your car for fun as well as record song after song with them go to Beats365
