I am going to blog about the do's and don'ts of taking a hot bath.
Do take a hot bath with salts & candles.
Don't put so many candles around that you cause fire to your shower curtain.
Do take a bath for as long as you choose.
Don't take a bath for so long that you fall asleep in the bathtub.
Do tell your mate that you are taking a bath.
Don't forget to tell them how long you intend on taking it for so if they don't hear from you they can check to see if you are ok.
Do eat light before you take a bath.
Don't not eat at all and expect to have the energy to clean yourself from head to toe.
Do drink lots of water before your bath.
Don't not drink water and then not even think to leave a glass of cold water next to you in the bath tub.
Do meditate and cleanse your inner self.
Don't meditate in the higher realms without grounding yourself first before you finish your meditation.
Do get out of the bath slowly and handle your business.
Don't get up to handle business so fast that you loose your footing or faint do to dizziness.
Do take a bath in darkness
Don't take a bath in darkness and not wait until your eyes adjust to get out of the tub and turn the light on.
Do take a bath daily
Don't take a bath 3 times a week.
Do use music and easy listening sounds in your bath treatment.
Don't have the music so loud that no one can hear you ask for help if necessary.
Do take a hot bath
Don't take a bath so hot that you can't breath and barely can sit comfortably.
This post was created because I love taking baths during full moons and new moons. I love to pray in the bathtub as well as meditate. It is a good time for me where I get to cleanse my thoughts and clear my mind. The reason I wrote the don'ts in this post was because I just recently took a bath and found myself choosing to randomly stand up to make the water hotter after meditating in the higher realms. I didn't ground myself or even meditate to the lower chakras in my body that keep me grounded to the earth. I reached for the water and noticed I was dizzy. I tried to grab the ledge in my bathroom and suddenly that was the last thing I remembered. Suddenly my girlfriend got a flash that she should call 311 or 911 after she heard the noise but because I turned on the water switch it was loud enough for her to ignore the noise she thought she heard. Later after a minute of dreaming I found myself outside of the tub looking up from the middle of the sink and a broken toilet seat. I realized I must have fainted. If I would have hit my head on something it would have been too late for that thought process that I was blessed to have had in this case. I was able to laugh it off, call my girlfriend into the bathroom and drink some water and eat a banana to finish the rest of my bath. So take heed to my post and be well when you are treating yourself well. Sometimes we do things to heal ourselves but when we are at the brink of exhaustion or in desperate need of healing it can be too late and we can then turn the healing into a harmful situation. I wish you wellness and hope your next bath is a safe and hot one. Peace and love.
