Today I woke up a bit early for me. It was around 11pm when I decided to head out to my balcony and do some meditation, breathing and a bit of yoga. If I start my day doing meditation rather than heading on the computer and checking my emails my day is always a bit more calm centered and well organized. The weather was beautiful and the view from my balcony was amazing. I seen the clouds come toward me from a distance almost as if they were waiting for me to wake up before they started rolling over my head. Nothing major though it was spectacular outside. I was going to go for a walk to the seaport and check out the body exhibition but I knew I had to work to do. I got to it. Set up my microphone and my computer and began recording a track called :Not that kind: produced by JD73 out of London. The song should be dope. After a few takes I fixed some spegetti and salad as well as two slices of garlic bread and chilled for a bit. Checked my email and myspace and banking and all that internet jazz and then got back to the track again. My evening consisted of me taking the bus to 10th st to visit my chiropractor. On the way there I stopped at the insense and oil stand and said whatdup to my neyba Abu. He told me my face was breaking out which is something I already knew hahah. But me and Abu are cool like that. Anyhow I seen my chiropractor Mr lamb and then headed to club DEEP where I had a brief meeting with the promoter from Image Wednesdays as she told me about future plans for trips to the UK as well as her trip to London this past week. Should be some good developments on that front in the near future. After the meeting I dropped off some money I got from it and noticed a homeless man asking for money or even a penny. I had a penny on me so I gave it to him. he refused it so I gave him a dollar for his thoughts. After speaking to him for a while he apologized over and over for refusing the penny and being a bit rude and said his mind was clearer after our chat. He was a cool dude. I walked off and made some phone calls and eventually hooked up with a friend who lives in the area and we walked downtown together. She made my trip home a bit easier as i got to stop in sex store with her because she wanted to try on a latex costume for an acting role she is working on as a stripper in a play. Crazy stuff eh. This is why I am vague all the time because if I was to try and explain every detail of my day it would be too long. Lets just say i finally got home and spent an hour in the local bodega talking to my neyba who helps work there about this and that until he finally closed the shop. Now thats real new york shit right there. I can't believe my homey runs the Bodega on my corner and all of the stuff he explained to me about his life just made me feel at ease that I will always be truly from here.
